IANTD is convinced that deep dives in a closed environment, or long decompression dives should be possible for the advanced diver. This must be done in a responsible manner. Technical diving should be taught through intensive courses with a lot of practice. We therefore state that in the IANTD technical courses, not only the number of dives but also the dive time counts.
